Landslide

Epic day trying to escape the Cowal peninsula which had effectively been turned into an island, disconnected in multiple places from the road network by landslides or floods and only way on or off being the Dunoon ferry.

Lots of detours and navigating around closed roads to find a way to Dunoon to catch the ferry home.

I felt the people who live there’s pain. The Scottish minister in charge of the roads/transport really should be dropped off by helicopter, given a normal car and told to get out for them to really experience the stress and struggles residents experience multiple times a year.
