The Carry On BookClub

Carrying on.   Our hostess was not traveling but present this time since our currant plan is to have a steady place to meet, ( her house) bringing our own sandwich and having cake ( or today, cookies).   6 of us…..welcome wide ranging comfortable talk.   5 are growing old with a partner,  which will surely change.     One with memory issues was due to come via Uber but it didn’t happen. 
And we all read something of Farley Mowat ….a prolific Canadian author and character….one of the first environmental writers. His animal stories for kids funny and warm… some books very hard to read…but worth knowing. Some fiction.
