Another beautiful day and a clearer head. Nick cycled to North Berwick to meet up with a friend and together they cycled the length and breadth of East Lothian. (Well, almost.) Sam stayed in bed and Rowan stayed in her room (me - 'but it's such a beautiful day!') Thankfully Murron was out and about playing Hockey and enjoying some of the sunshine. We decided to barbecue in the evening and ate outside enjoying the children's banter and the warmth of the sun.

I get lulled into a false sense of time as the nights are so light. Murron took full advantage this evening and was still up at 10. I foolishly thought it was only about 8pm.

Dare I say that the ground is SO dry? Some rain during the night would be nice....
