Village Pump

This restored water pump is in Grassington village square.  It has a plate affixed to it commemorating the men of the village and district who died on military service.    It was late afternoon when we arrived so we had no difficulty parking as visitors were beginning to leave and make there way home.   Perfect timing as we were able to mooch around at our own pace and then sit quietly in the square by the fountain.
