Fast Food Fix

Last day of camp, sun still shining which made packing everything away that much easier. Mrs S and I have it off Pat, or rather Mrs S does, I just do as I am told.
Another camp fire breakfast, the last one of the trip is usually the best and biggest as we use up the last of the cool box food, and so it was today. A gentle paced pack away interspersed with plenty of relaxing in the sun and we were ready.
No carvery this year, instead we headed off to a roadside restaurant. I opted for a couple of flat whites with a slice of Jaffa cake was enough. We left and headed west whilst everyone else continued east.
Mrs S and I were working to a plan, KFC at Marazion looking out over St Michaels Mount. It would also give us a chance to look at the Carnon Cross to Chiverton Cross road duelling and improvements.
Two years on and £330 million and we are yet to see it finished. It’s supposedly going to make our lives so much better after all it’s a strategic road improvement. Most of us see it as moving the summer gridlock 13 miles down the road to the Loggan’s Moor Roundabout.

Anyway Mrs S and I enjoyed “finger licking chicken” looking out over a spectacular view before heading home to a very excited Paddy and a glad to see us Sam.
