Throne Room of the Mountain Gods …

… view from the Frête de Saille towards the Alpine giants in the distance and the Cabane de Rambert on the next ridge after a very aerial traverse of the North face of the Grand Muveran. I haven’t done this route (try to spot Lucy in light coloured trousers and a blue shirt in extras) for maybe 15 years. Today I felt fit enough to do it. I must write to my knee doctor to thank him! Second extra is the view of a young bouquetin looking towards the distant Lake Geneva. 

Reading the news about the war in the Gaza Strip brought me back to earth just now. I can’t watch the news.
