Day 283/23. The Berlin Express

The Berlin Express container ship in Southampton docks today.
This huge ship is currently the largest German container ship and has a capacity of 23,664 TEU.
TEU is the unit of container measurement of capacity. TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit). With 2 making up a truck sized container that means it takes over 10,000 trucks to deliver the containers to the ship. Or would, if they were'nt mostly delivered to the port by train.
