Out of the Light....

...and into the dark.  Which pretty much describes our journey once we crossed in to Scotland today, sunshine and showers all the way.

I know I'm never the one doing the driving so really I don't have a right to opinion, but if there was ever a poll of passengers' favourite motorway it would be the M6north from the Lakes/M74.  I love the fact that 9/10 times we will be heading to Scotland if we are on this route and also it is picturesque and quieter than motorways which head south.

We are spending a few days with Jen and Pete and throwing in a bit of orienteering too.
