I'm very glad it's been dry so far today as Rob and 11 of his year group are hosting a 'Mini Olympics' day for children from local primary schools. Events such as sack races, egg and spoon races and bean bag throwing will be taking place. The emphasis is on fun so I hope the children all enjoy it!

I've just come back from a walk at Middleton Lakes. Hardly any insects or birds around this morning....it's quite breezy though so perhaps that's why! This shot is the best of a poor bunch!

Time for a cuppa now and then chores this afternoon. Then it's off to football training later followed by The Apprentice!
