Waiting until he passed

Three deer crossed the path first. This one then had to wait until the jogger passed.

I consult with one of my youth models on Sunday. I was going to see the church on Sunday but they can’t do that day. I am so impatient to get the venue confirmed and the dates confirmed. 

Ukraine is focusing on logistics. They are damaging Russia’s supply lines by attacking railways, bridges, and manufacturing plants. This is the best use of their limited resources. Russia is running low on ammunition, parts, morale, and food. 

Russia is trying to attack Ukraine’s trains. Ukraine has an extensive national rail operator, Ukrzalinznytsia. Russia initially ignored the trains because they thought they were going to win in three days. Since then they are trying, but they can’t wreck the entire network because it is vast and durable. There are nearly 15,000 miles of rack. There are 1,500 stations. There are 2,000 locomotives. Ukraine has extended its Western air-defenses over the most critical rail nodes. When Russia gets lucky, Ukrzaliznytsia repairs the damage. 

Early in last year’s invasion, Russian looters stole 27 pieces of farm equipment worth $5 million. They shipped it 700 miles to Chechnya. We know they went there because they had GPS. The Russians can’t use them. John Deere locked them remotely. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Ukraine’s National Ballet performs in Ukraine. Kyiv City Ballet was on tour in Paris when Russia attacked in 2022. They continue to tour internationally. Ukrainian dancers who left post-invasion joined the former Royal Conservatory in The Hague and tours as The United Ukrainian Ballet.
