Nyons in the morning for some food shopping.

Home to plant seeds (herbs and chilli plants) and bottle my elderflower champagne. I have a funny feeling it hasn't taken this time...seems to be lacking in the bubble department. May need to try another batch.

Walked to the garden and helped dad to weed and water for a couple of hours.

Cycled round to get steaks from the shop and had a gorgeous dinner on the terrace.

This photo is of Big Bertha, one of our hens. She's a cou nu (naked neck) and this particular breed have no feathers on their neck at all - very strange looking, but we love her all the same :)
