Goodnight Mama

There's a new bassoonist in her class at school who started today. She's known her previously. It's been a slightly tricky day. Katie doesn't have a malicious bone in her body. And despite her talent, she's very understated about herself. However she really struggles when people are "full of themselves", she finds it very hard to understand and navigate. Also, it's tricky as they've gone from two bassoonists who got loads of opportunities to 6 now and losing opportunities as a consequence. and navigate. But she's spent a lot of time today trying to help the new girl settle and find her feet. 

She sent me two photos tonight. This one to say good night. And a photograph of the washing machines to show she was "very busy doing her laundry".
