On the edge..

..at Compton Bay. We walked from Freshwater to Compton Bay along the cliffs and the final part on a most beautiful beach. It was so still. There was no breeze and the sun remained hidden through a fine layer of cloud making it perfect walking weather. The surfers were out in force - so far out in the sea it was like watching moving matchsticks. In the afternoon we walked in a completely different landscape from Yarmouth along a river valley, through pretty woods back to our hotel in Freshwater. Very satisfying day.
