Nuthatch ( Sitta europaea )

A bird that never fails to please me when I see it.  Perhaps it is because I grew up with no Nutchatches in Cumbria so they seemed exotic birds when seen.  Alternatively, it may be their strange liking for feeding upside down.

A busy day doing a bit more "jungle fighting" in the form of attacking the large growth on top of the hedge.  As a result, I settled for an easy blip of the Nuthatch at the feeders,
