Busy

The road fairies were listening. R got M to the hospital in time, after catching the first ferry at 7.10. There was then quite a long wait as the morning list had overrun. But by 4 he was back on the ward and R arrived shortly after with a sandwich. M was pretty hungry as had last eaten at 5am - I got my maths wrong and thought the cut off time was two hours earlier than it actually was. Very relieved it all went well. It’s been an incredibly long day but we will all sleep better tonight.

The blip was taken on the morning dog walk across the fields. All the gorse bushes were covered with hundreds of spider webs, making up for time lost during the torrential rain over the last days. More forecast tomorrow but hoping it will be a lot less destructive than over the weekend.
