Burfa

This morning's walk took us up through Nash Wood near Llanandras/Presteigne, sometimes called 'Two Nations Wood' as it straddles the England/Wales border. Near the summit we had a good view across to Burfa Bank, another Iron Age Hillfort, and the hills of east Radnorshire. There was some nice medieval stained glass in St Andrew's church in the town. The afternoon was spent over the border in Shropshire with the owners of the house we are hoping to buy.
