The day the rain stopped

Well it was only three days, but it seemed incessant. Today the rain stopped, at least for a while, and in the morning the sun shone. I took the opportunity to have a walk through the nearby gardens. Lots of wet leaves everywhere made some surfaces feel a little slippery.

The area with no grass is where the Number 10 pub had a marquee for a month or so. Somewhat to my surprise it has been removed. Maybe there were more objections. Before it was installed the grass had only just recovered from the previous occasion they had a marquee in the same place.
