Still not the hot sunshine that was forecast but much better than some areas that have had torrential rain & flooding! Awful ... thought go out to all those affected :-(

It was a little warmer today as we had hazy sunshine most of the day & a lighter breeze ....... pleasant weather for a wander :-)

Back "up the road" this afternoon .... saw one of the Jays again but it was too far away to get a photo.

We saw two Buzzards, a Kestrel & quite a few small birds :-)

Noticed these fungi lurking under a bush ..... they were doing their best to be inconspicuous but we spotted them ..... blip sorted :-)

Extra is a Common Darter basking on the high wire. 
We saw quite a few of them & a couple of Migrant Hawkers too :-)
