Birthday cake

This is the amazing birthday cake my sister-in-law made for my older brother's birthday. We got together this afternoon to celebrate it. Much food was eaten and good chat was had.

No news yet on the house front - no decision was made on Friday. I should hear tomorrow so some of that chat was about the house. Some more was about my terrible work situation. Useful to get another perspective from my sister-in-law. Hoping for change in the week ahead, but was given some perspective and directions to fight. We did talk about good and fun things too and it was just lovely to see and spend time with family. And of course to eat cake!
