The stage is set...

Our local drama group (Burneside Amateur Theatrical Society) produce a pantomime and a 'showstoppers' musical night each year, and they are particularly good at producing very dynamic dramas.  Tonight we saw Vinegar Tom, a play about witchcraft and feminism; the audience sat around the edge of the room, the actors walked amongst us, and the gibbet was there on the stage to remind us of the consequences of sin.
