Sunset and a Sunflower

It was supposed to be a sunset on the lake tonight but we never got there. We reckon an accident had happened further along the motorway and with Sunday night traffic we weren’t going anywhere fast! I remembered seeing this field of « serve yourself » sunflowers earlier in the week, on the way home.

Thanks for all the gifts for yesterday’s larch tree.

Another war breaks out and my comfortable life seems like I am living on another planet to so many poor folks who get caught up in other people’s power games. My heart goes out to them.
