Sipping, Supping and Sleeping

This morning, we were invited to (excellent) coffee in 'Arry, followed by our habitual Sunday croissants.

Walked up the hill and round the castle to church as usual, but then the day unfolded rather differently to planned. We'd forgotten the service was at 16h after a procession for Our Lady of Alcance. It was already baking hot, so no way we were going out at that time, and the Adega wasn't open yet, so returned home and spent the rest of the day in the air con, sipping G&Ts, supping salmorejo, and sleeping soundly.

Now we're off to Reguengos to visit Margreth, and then to Monsaraz to pick up Bengt and Gunilla for dinner at Sem Fim. Blipping early so I don't need to switch on the laptop after we get back tonight.
