My car had a good clean inside this morning . . . once I got some power to the vacuum cleaner. The extension lead that Jason repaired didn’t work so I found two shorter ones that were just long enough when joined together.

Once I’d finished I decided to try and replace the fuse in the plug. The long extension is the one that a door blew closed onto and cut through to the wire. Jason had cut it back beyond the damaged bit and rewired the plug. I found fuses more quickly than I expected and managed to put a new one in. Tested it with my hair dryer and it works.

In the afternoon a plod (it was really slow) to Waterhead. The dog in the boat caught my eye.
