An enjoyable slow start to the day with the daughter who was staying over. After she'd cleared off I started clearing the stuff around the window in the wee back bedroom. The guff that we keep - far too much ; here's some typical doodles from a student in the mid-seventies, including one of his van parked outside the student union. Fab.
Anyway, I had to get more putty, and got a fair bit of the window done until it unexpectedly started raining.
Later, off to the Cameo to see Beyond the Candelabra - the film about Liberace. Terrific entertainment - much of it's a real hoot, though it's not without its sadness, and Michael Douglas is absolutely stunning. Home for bratwurst, a wee whisky, and the latest in McWhirter's Road to Referendum. Braw.
