Mundus

We had opening of an art exhibition also today! Ilkka Väätti was my art teacher (2018-2020) and he invited our class to his exhibition opening in the Art Gallery Himmelblau. It was lovely see old classmates.

Ilkka is very good teacher and amazing person. And I love his works and so did hubby! He has worked with his Mundus series since 1993. He creates his own interpretations of details he has seen in different parts of the world, in art books and in history books.

Before driving back home we had afternoon coffee in the Cafe Runo.

Emma's  team started their season the the national basketball league today, they had a game in Helsinki against previous season's winner ToPo (84-39). Better luck next time! They'll have home game on Wednesday. Hubby picked Emma up when their bus was back in Tampere, it's great to have her here!

Weather was terrible! Autumn has definitely taken a tight grip. We packed our garden furniture into winter storage.
