Orange-peel Clematis

Best not to mention the weather today!


The golden yellow bell-shaped flowers turn to a rusty orange and then the wispy seed heads appear ...... that particular clematis looks good almost all year.

Today the seed heads were covered with raindrops which refused to give up their hold. Afte walking Keta in the downpour my hair looked much the same after I pulled off my hat.

Settling down now to watch 'Strictly' ..... great entertainment for a dull, damp Saturday evening
