Catching the rays …

The north south U.K. weather divide today seems very odd indeed.

While we basked in 20 degrees, gardening and sipping tea, in the late afternoon sunshine I read reports of severe disruption caused by very heavy rain in the north.

Our recent Scottish train travels would have been totally wrecked by today’s disruption.

All eyes on Paris tonight as Scotland take on Ireland. If they lose they’ll be flying home tomorrow ‘to think again’? I hope not!
