Mother and Child

A visit at my mother’s made me feel better about R, her new carer. After the wobbly start last week, R has won my mother’s approval by now, and they seem to get along well enough. 
I tried some of R’s cooking, too. She had made lentil soup, but very differently from our usual way. Her soup was blended, after adding tomato puree, and served with sour cream. Delicious.

On my way, I spotted a small group of belties on a field not far from my mother’s village. Two of the cows had calves - here’s one of the couples; the others had hidden behind the bushes.
