Fly Agaric

The rain has been the stuff of legend today. I gather some people are basking in 25° heat while we are splashing through puddles which are growing deeper by the minute. 

The girls came through to play this morning and entertained themselves very well. It was good to see them and join in the games. They stayed for an early lunch. 

When they left I donned my wellies, overtrousers and waterproof jacket for a dog walk. It's still raining and there's no wind so nothing's blowing through. 

Spotted this fly agaric in the playpark. Not the best place for something so eye-catching but poisonous to be growing. I doubt there'll be any children there today though. A washout!
