Passo dello Spluga

Leaving Ticino at noon to go back to the mountain home. We have a few things which need to be taken care of there plus we want to hike and see the larch trees turning yellow. The weather forecast is also for the next week very promising. Golden autumn.

We drove today via San Bernardino and took afterwards the route via Spluga pass back to Italy to do the weekly fish, vegetable and fruit shopping in Chiavenna.

The 51 Tornanti’s ( narrow hairpin bends) on the Italian side down were fun to drive but also demanded attention.

Finally arriving at home at 6pm via Maloja pass.
