Berries galore!

The holly tree is overladen with berries this autumn - I have never seen so many.  Does that mean we are going to get a very cold winter? They will be gone when the birds are looking for food as the temperature drops in the next month or so.

Little J came to me for the morning as K was cleaning out the shepherd's hut for the next visitors.  He is 2 1/2 and is already very particular and methodical with his toys and loves his simple puzzles.  It is so interesting watching toddlers develop - I couldn't watch T  in the same way when he was a baby - too busy!
