Friday lunch

Today S and I took our youngest mokopuna (Young L) to lunch here at Toby's Restaurant in Titirangi. It was a delightful couple of hours, with a bright young man whose development is impressive. I also read an essay he had written for school. Using the storyline of West Side Story and that of Billy Elliott (and two other sources) he discussed the evils which result from discrimination, racism, and the like. For a Year 11 (5th form) boy it was very impressive.
