for letting me know you appreciate my journal. Feeling love and appreciation in a world where there is a war raging, and democracy is in peril, is comforting.
I just heard Sean Penn, the American actor, speak about the unity and courage he saw while filming “Superpower,” a movie that documents the aftermath of Russia’s war on Ukraine. We only watch in horror.
He talked about how essential it is to maintain genuine positions and follow through on the promises of supporting a nation that has become an emblem of the fight against authoritarian governments. We have to think of the future of our children.
