Burnt offerings.....

A lot of rain yesterday,more showers today. Harvest cancelled once again.
A day of cattle work. The vet here with a couple of final year students to take 5 blood samples for the annual BVD test from some of the bullocks we brought in last Sunday. After they were done ,let them take blood from a few more for extra practice.
Then Kev and I set about clipping backs,worming and giving pneumonia and BVD vaccine to some of the group. By half past 3 had about 30 left to do,so decided to do them tomorrow. Headed off down the road to feed all the heifers,just as the rain started again.
Was heading home when Mrs F phoned to tell me my sausage rolls were ready. She arrived home from work to discover the 2 I put in the Aga to heat at lunch time,and forgot all about. Bugger.
