It’s a lampshade with a golden lining inside and a punched out smiley like pattern , which makes a shadow pattern on the reddish wall and the wooden wallhanging.

We visited a really beautiful apartment building for the elderly with plenty of services like a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a gym, physiotherapists, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, creative spaces , 24 hour concierge servies etc. But it is in Bergamo, which is an hour’s drive from my sister’s house.
Tomorrow we’ll have to make new appointments to view other places.
