Swiss surprise

A rather do-nothing day that’s finished with a really nice meal in Dreams restaurant which proudly flies the Swiss flag outside and offers specials from that country on the menu.

Apart from the food, the most striking part of the evening was the weather. It had become more cloudy, though still warm during the day. Sitting in the restaurant at 9pm, we thought at first that heaters were on. It turned out, though, that what we were feeling was actually a breeze. The overall temperature was 30º, and the breeze brought bursts that felt more than that. Our waitress told us that hot winds like this were not unusual, though never welcome. We’d never felt anything like it anywhere before. Strange times.
