Another day, another vane
Here's another in what is fast becoming an occasional mini-series in my journal. This one is in the village, but I only noticed it for the first time today. I like the twist on the traditional cockerel that's going on here! It's inspired a twist on the traditional weather rhyme:
Whether the weather be dull,
Or whether the weather be pleasant,
We'll weather the weather whatever the weather
In the vein of a weather-vane pheasant.
Boom-boom!
It's been foggy, rainy, grey and horrid today. And blooming cold!
