Our Spanish Base…

… in the Extremadura (western Spain)

We finished our week-long birding trip to western Spain today and drove back to the Madrid Airport to catch our flight to London
with the other three members of our group.
We had spent the week at this delightful casa rural in lovely countryside outside the town of Trujillo. The scenic setting was peaceful, and birds were frequent. We enjoyed it greatly.
