Astronomy night

A quiet day with Tai Chi and gardening. I'd booked onto a taster night at the UCLAN Astronomy Centre. You can read about it here It was very interesting. Such a shame not a star to be seen in the sky as it was so cloudy. 
The photos in the collage are the hut that houses the oldest telescope and the two telescopes. They can't use the old one as the dome is made of asbestos.
