Chowder and Swimming

In the morning I collected multiple copies of the Torquay Museum Society programme for October 2023 - January 2024 for distribution. I also went on a tour behind the scenes of the Museum.
The first talk is about the local RNLI team ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Tonight we took part in a dip and dine event at the Cantina Cafe, part of the local seafood fest. We had an enjoyable swim first, and then dined on hot chowder. This was followed by three presentations - film of our local coves, the work of Healthscape, a charity organising regular outdoor swimming, and the story of Matt Newbury, joint author of books about wild swimming locally.
It was a beautiful evening, perfect for sea swimming.
