Train spotting

Today's ride was to the Town of Light* with a low temperature of 9.5 at Springs Junction and high of 20.5 after crossing Spooners Range which dropped to 17.0 on reaching Wakefield.

The Blip was taken on leaving Reefton as three coal trains were waiting on a crossing for a signal so I could walk in front of them to take some pictures.
Reefton was a gold town and is now a coal town.
* Reefton called the "Town of Light" as it was the first in the southern hemisphere to have electric street lighting.

Six rode today with a round trip of 460 kms.
