After a sunny day with record breaking high temperatures this was the sunset tonight. This afternoon my phone said it was 26 C, the normal high for Oct 3 is 15 C.
We finished a job today that was started last week. The customer is happy to have a lot more light in her rooms now that the trees are gone and next summer she will be able to look out at the various flowers that I planted. Then we did some prep work on another job so it is ready for soil and a few plants on Friday. We did a fall cleanup on another property and the owner had mentioned that the rose hedge in the back yard was not doing well and wondering if I had any ideas on what to do. Today I came up with an idea, a row of ornamental grasses with a row of boxwood in front. The grasses will be tall enough to give them some privacy in the summer. I emailed him tonight and he said to go ahead. I have been working on this garden since 2015, and only a few things remain where they were when I started and they have only stayed where they are because they are too big to move.
