Went over to Bird Key Park to see if the smoky sky was going to make for an interesting sunset. All this smoke appeared over night and it’s from the wild fires in Canada.
ANYWAY, this was my next to last shot and this boy rolled up on a scooter and was just there, watching the sun go down. I took the photo and then showed it to him and he was SO excited and asked me to send it to his phone (the beauty of taking photos with the phone)….so he gave me his phone number and I sent the photo. What happened next was just so sweet: he texted me that he’s wanted a photo like that for a long time but he’s always alone and there’s no one to take a photo. And he thanked me for being kind.
It was a good day…
