Special Birthday

Organised a surprise special birthday party in the house for Sally, my wife. The weather was good and it was really special to see all the family with grandchildren and close friends. Sally is second right, speaking as she always does with her hands. (An apocryphal story is that when she was in secondary school the teacher asked her to describe to the class the structure of DNA. When she finished giving her accurate but typically flamboyant answer, he said please do it again, but this time sit on your hands!).
August had been so wet and miserable but the the weather changed and we had a glorious day which only added to everyone's enjoyment.
