Colourful Houses

Nipped downtown, Gloucester, to pick up two pieces of 6mm glass for Marlanes bedside tables. The glass shop has been going for over 50 years and I remember it from when I first started living in Gloucester in 1974. It's had a number of owners in that time but I particularly remember it when it was Pilkington Glass, now it is Roman Glass, very appropriate for Gloucester.
It is at the top of a street called Kilda Parade, where my Sister in Law, Sonia, lived with her husband and two children, who are now in their 50's. Her house was the Blue and White one. They have since moved on over the years of course.
Opposite, on the other side of the car park, the houses have been painted in different colours but couldn't get them all into one photo.
The glass, by the way, is just beautiful, with polished edges all the way round, and 6mm is quite thick and it's tough.
