The best part of Euston station!

Today I went to Euston station to catch a train to Stoke on Trent. I find the station so depressing compared to others I frequent such as Waterloo and St Pancras. Apparently it is being upgraded but work is progressing at snails pace. The ladies toilets were in a very bad way, not dirty but just so dilapidated. 
Outside there is a large area where you can sit, if weather OK, to wait and see the big notices when your train is ready. This was also very scruffy with lots of litter.

The only nice thing there today was this teenager playing the piano on the station ,piano!  He was very accomplished playing a  classical piece and watched by three friends.

My train was on time and had a good journey. On arrival we went to a Museum/Art gallery in Brampton,Newcastle on Tyne. Very interesting as it had lots of exhibits about the history of the potteries and also life from the last century. We recognised various toys , books and artefacts from our childhood!
