TINY JEWEL
Yesterday on our hike, I saw this TINY jewel of a wildflower, along the dusty trail. There was no cellular reception, so I was unable to find the name in my PICTURETHIS APP. I was amazed to see such a variety of flowers,
this late in the year. What a treat!
Angus & I have a house guest: Ollie is a black & white Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, about half the size of Angus. I'm not sure how long he will be with us,
but he seems to be adapting well. My neighbor has been called away to
deal with a family matter, with short notice. Angus is fine as long as he is fed first, & gets his walks. I walked them separately today, which worked out well.
It's a good thing I brought my Orchids & houseplants inside, the other day; because, our Santa Ana winds started kicking up this morning. A chilly wind this morning, but tomorrow the classic hot Autumn wind will take over. It will be back into the 90's (32.2C) again, for a few days. We had a mild Summer, so a few hot days will be tolerable.
