Birdlife

It's been a lovely day here.  While the sunrise failed to appear, the light improved dramatically by 8am and Incredibish, Happy_Janwen and I found ourselves on the beach looking at the birdlife.  As it was just after high tide, there was a fair bit of activity close to shore.  I was pleased to get the shot of the curlew that is the main.  But there were godwits, oystercatchers, redshank and turnstones aplenty to keep us occupied. 

There's an extra of a turnstone with a crab, and another of a bar tailed godwit.
