Friend delights

Anyone who knows Anna knows she loves her plants - her wish for a birthday outing was to visit the Physic garden in London with Chris and I.

So we met and walked v briskly ;-)) and then leisurely walked around. The plant I’ve included is an Australian plant with a wonderful name - do stretch the photo and look if you can. :-))

It was really interesting but I don’t have a head or the will for retaining Latin names of plants so C and I just pointed to things of interest so Anna could absorb the detail. She’s very handy in quizzes!

Lunch afterwards and then home to the absolute chaos of Elbows getting ready to travel - and host a series of events that’s taking a lot of patience and pull.

He was still organising in the small hours.
