Tiny bromeliad flower
Last Friday I posted a photo of a flower on a miniature bromeliad that is nestled in the fork of a tree in our garden. A couple of the flowers have since opened and today's photo shows that. The stamens have burst forth and the previously white stigma is now yellow from the pollen. Clearly a tiny critter has done a fertilisation job on it. We might soon have a few more tiny clumps of this fascinating plant.
Thanks for hosting TT, Pinkhairedlady.
